in reply to: Jan ’22 Cohort – Introduce yourself! #15767
Thank you for sharing Boyd! Really looking forward to getting to know you through this adventure!
in reply to: Having Trouble with this Course #15555This has been fixed. You first do the pre-quiz, and then the intro video. Try it and LMK.
in reply to: Having Trouble with this Course #15551I will fix that today. What course are you stuck on?
in reply to: Zillow vs Reality #15548great question! I use Zillow myself to get a general feel. But I would not use it to drive an offer or a make a serious decision. As rule-of-thumb, it works. I’ll bring this up at the cohort meeting too so we can discuss.
in reply to: Introduce yourself! #15545Aloha Paul & Kris! Mahalo for sharing. Very cool and looking forward to get you know you both better! As I’m sure you know from your visits, lots of Asian influence in Hawaii esp from Okinawa.
in reply to: Introduce yourself! #15540Love that Judy! What a cool story and looking forward to seeing you soon!
in reply to: Introduce yourself! #15538Mahalo For sharing! Really looking forward to working w/ you on this cohort!
in reply to: Introduce yourself! #15535Great story Tom! Thanks for fleshing that out. Your wife will definitely have plenty of opportunities to “keep working in her retirement” lol but not sure that’s what you’ll all want. Kauai is my 2nd favorite island – great choice!
in reply to: Biggest surprises? #15524Great points. As luck would have it, I’m getting closer to retirement and naturally that will lead into discussions about that in Hawaii. Mahalo for the feedback!
See you at Makapuu on 6/26!
Perhaps a furniture rental is a good place to start. quick google searches bring up Colortyme rent to own and Rent-A-Center.
Mahalo Sara for pointing Kelly to the banking recommendation video we had in the member Q&A section!
in reply to: Starting a business #15044I’m glad you put that question in the form – I’ll definitely be expanding on that this Saturday. See you there!
in reply to: Starting a business #15029No state-driven benefits per se. The “benefits” are those intrinsic to being a business owner – e.g. pain, suffering, overwork, and paltry wages all in exchange for freedom, the chance to succeed, and self realization.
LOL! great question – let’s talk about it at the next cohort meeting – be sure to bring it up!
in reply to: Biggest surprises? #15001It’s a really big hit-or-miss issue combined with your child’s own personality – which makes it really hard to figure out the right fit. Charter schools are definitely an option. The most important thing here is that you are aware of the situation and you take steps to mitigate it.
