Aloha Everyone,
I’m Bobby and my wife Leonida (Nida) and I are happy to be part of this group! I lived in Aiea when I was younger and have wanted to move back to the islands ever since. Unfortunately life has gotten in the way of those dreams (8 1/2 years Air Force and 24+ years in the Sheriff’s Department) but hopefully by this summer we can fix that. Nida has lived in the Philippines and Santa Barbara CA. Besides O’ahu, I’ve lived in Chinhae South Korea, Upper Heyford United Kingdom, San Antonio Texas and all up and down California to include Santa Barbara where I met my wife :-)
I’ve taken Nida to the islands several times and we’ve decided Hawai’i Island is where we wish to live. While Kauai or Moloka’i is more my feel, we’re thinking the Big Island will be the all around good fit (plus we can always vacation to other islands from there!)
Nida is a Licensed Vocational Nurse and would love to put her skills to good use on the Big Island. As for me, anything would work and if nothing, then I look forward to volunteer work around the community…that would suit me fine.
